Partner with GS1

GS1 Partnership is for organisations which are seeking opportunities to engage more closely with the GS1 community. There are two levels that GS1 Partners can engage with GS1 New Zealand, with each offering a scaled package of benefits as follows:

GS1 Business Partners

GS1 Business Partners are required to have a strong commitment to becoming active members of the GS1 New Zealand business community and to driving adoption of GS1 standards through related solutions and services.

You will have mutually beneficial objectives and activities that align with our sector development strategy.

A membership package that meets both our business objectives is structured following consultation.

Benefits for GS1 Business Partners include:

  • Profile at GS1 New Zealand community events and at other initiated sector activities
  • Opportunities to participate in GS1 New Zealand education and training events
  • Use of the GS1 New Zealand logo on approved collateral
  • Allocation of complimentary GS1 New Zealand seminar registrations
  • Appropriate Partner listing in the GS1 New Zealand Solution Providers Directory 
  • Opportunity for a company representative to participate in one of the Global Standards Management Process (GSMP) working groups
  • Input to GS1 New Board representatives.

Requests to become Business Alliance Partners must be submitted to the GS1 New Zealand board for assessment. Please contact us to discuss the terms and fees.

GS1 Alliance Members

This is the entry tier of GS1 partnership and requires support from you to promote the adoption of GS1 standards enabled solutions and services.

GS1 New Zealand will support you through various marketing opportunities and increase your visibility to GS1 New Zealand members.

Benefits of Alliance Membership include:

  • Two 50% discount vouchers to attend any GS1 New Zealand seminar (excludes member conferences), and GS1 member rates for seminars thereafter
  • Alliance Member listing in the GS1 NZ Alliance Members Directory 
  • Opportunity for a company representative to participate in one of the Global Standards Management Process (GSMP) working groups
  • Advance notification of opportunities to partner with GS1 New Zealand at selected events.

A GS1 Alliance Member pays an annual licence fee of $595 +GST per annum irrespective of the turnover of the organisation. If barcodes or additional GS1 New Zealand services are required then a separate full membership must also be applied for.
